*NOTE Yes you read this correctly...This wedding was at Marineland at King Waldorfs Castle. It was unbelievable and so much fun to watch. When the minister asked if anyone object or forever hold their peace, a giant sea lion came out of nowhere and when he said "I now pronounce you man and wife" dolphins jumped out of the water and danced around the pool. When we all left to head over to the hotel they all waved goodbye. The wedding cake was made to look like a coral reef complete with sea shells and two toy whales, one with a top hat and the other with a bouquet. Hi Robin, I was looking for a quote for a stag and doe and wedding reception to be held at the Holiday Inn for Saturday September 23 between 5pm and 12 midnight. We are not sure of the exact location and date for the stag and doe but it will be on a Friday evening. Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed the GWRRA (Gold Wings)
Chapter G (50's and 60's) dinner/dance that you provided the music for last
night. As a member of our dance committee, I want to let you know that
everyone who attended the dance for our fourth year had a terrific time. I
looked around the hall many different times during the evening, and every
time I did, I SAW EVERYONE SMILING & DANCING!!!!!! Yes, there was wild,
abandoned fun and dancing everywhere.

**NOTE This reception took place at the Beacon Harbourside in Vineland...The room was decorated in white with black trim. The bridesmaids wore beautiful black dresses with white accents as you can see on these photo's. The view from across the length of the reception room is fantastic with a full panoramic view of Lake Ontario and boats tied up on the docks. You'll also notice the groom (Tim) wore his top hat with white gloves for the first dance with Kelly. They had an original idea to kiss at the head table, guests were asked to make up a limerick about the couple for everyone to hear. Click here to view Kelly and Tim's memories.

 Wedding Reception!

This was a very unique wedding. We met them at Stephanie and Justins wedding last September. These guys really knew how to party. Blair and Erin are into sports in a big way and both love to ski. These pictures are lots of fun...The first picture you'll see was taken by a friend AT THE VERY MOMENT Blair proposed to Erin at the PEAK of Whistlers Mountain in British Columbia. The wedding cake was decorated to look like a mountain with little trees, rocks and a toy helicopter on the side.The centerpieces were huge flat logs with lanterns on top.

Just a note to say THANKS for a tremendous evening the other night. Anne and Damian were thrilled. From the dinner music through to the last song of the night, eveything went without a hitch. Thanks for allowing our nephew Morgan, the MC, to use your equipment when there was that temporary glitch with the hall’s sound system. Talking to the guests throughout the night, all agreed that the music and the DJ - you - were great. The smoke and lights added that special touch. The floor was never empty. Boy can you read a crowd!  I guess that shows what experience does.

May 7, 2005...................Retirement Party (School Teacher)

 

This was a most amazing evening.. Doug Jarvis threw his wife Bev a fantastic 50's& 60's retirement party with about 100 guest in attendance, many were dressed up in poodle skirts, bee hive hair, blue jeans and rolled up T-shirts.....It turns out that a well known robotic mime (Silver Elvis) was a close relative. I have seen this guy at many functions and he's unbelievable to watch and travels all over Canada. We twisted, strolled and rocked to great dancing music all evening. What a fun night on Saturday in Kitchener...This was our second party with this group .Lindsay Doyle and her sisters (The Doyle Academy of Irish Dancers) entertained about 140 people, mostly mom's and dad's of these Irish dancers....Girls from about 8 years of age to 15 danced up a storm and this is why we just had to show you these photo's. They entertained and we rocked with the music...Money raised is to send a couple of these award winning girls to Ireland at the end of March to compete for the world championships of Irish dancing...Good Luck and have lots of fun!

our Corporate Christmas Party on Friday December 10 and at the Staff Party
on Monday December 13, 2004. I had some great compliments about how
personable you were, and the tunes you were "spinin" kept everyone up on the
dance floor the whole night! I think that it was a great pleasure working
with you, and I hope to see you again real soon. I know you're the DJ for a
wedding here in October for a good friends and I
was sure to tell them what a great job you did this past weekend, and they

What a great couple of nights...A variety of business from the falls got
together to rock and roll with us on Friday the10th at the Cairn Croft Best
Western and our d.j.'s were back again last night the 13th for the Cairn
Crofts private party..These guys partied to all types of music. The time

December 12, 2004  Wedding Reception

"Let's hear it for our disc jockey's, you guys were fabulous"  These were
the exact words mentioned to the guests by Al and  Kimberly Quinn for their
wedding Sunday morning at 11:00 am at the fabulous Legends on the Niagara
Golf and Country Club. We couldn't beleive that the place would rock at 1pm
just after a tremendous buffet with the sun shinning brightly  to songs like
Shook Me All Night Long  and Paradise by the Dashboard Lights. Al is a pilot
in Sudbury Ontario and Kim is from Columbus Ohio...about 90% of their guest
were from Ohio, North Carolina and Florida...Here are a few photo's of their

Wow!

in Burlington....4 hours of all types of music. Faith McMillan from Canadian

November 22, 2004 - Christmas Dance!

To anyone considering having Rockin Robin provide the music for their
special occasion, please read below:


We had the pleasure of seeing Rockin Robin in action on four occasions at
our hospital. The first was at our "Build a New Hospital" fundraising kick
off for staff, when we hosted a beach party and barbeque in the summer.
Robin played a wide variety of songs and kept the atmosphere extremely
festive.


The second time and probably the most memorable that Robin played for us was
at our Hospital Christmas Dance last November 2002. This was the first dance
we had in over 15 years and he played a large part in making it such a great
success. He was able to assess the crowd and kept the dance floor PACKED for
the entire evening and all of the people in attendance are looking forward
to dancing to the sounds of Rockin Robin again.
